      GIMP.

      I'm gonna rape you.

Also, what's wrong with GIMP? I've been using it semi-professionally for years.

Idk I've been forced to use Ubuntu for a few days and using GIMP was a literal fucking nightmare, I couldn't figure out for the life of me how to make things as basic as a gradient that goes from fully opaque to transparent, I can do that in Paint.NET so fucking easily without even using plugins (those fucking RULE)
GIMP just fucking sucks for no reason
      I'm not OP, also

Try free Resolve, then you'll probably change your mind. It's user friendly and powerful.

    >krita

I just installed this today and the only thing I want to do is pencil sketching and I can't even figure out how to give a "paper background" or whatever to my work and it's annoying me. I know it's stupid but can somebody bail me out here.
Tutorials all talk about fill layers and whatever but they just turn the whole thing black without texture.

get a paper overlay texture and just change the blending mode

Just like how 7 year olds don't know how to work a rifle, these skills tend to become less common in the wake of them no longer being a necessity (you can get 90% of pirated media by just asking Jeeves to find XYZ for free)

I dont think you can fonde the new photoshop there? I really dont know, its years i used a torrent for other than a movie, that's always turns out to shitty like all other moderned movies and most art. Don't they have cloud locks in most good software now?

Instead of getting paid feces into your mouth for free, you can become a freeware chad

Any reason to look for an alternative? It's so fucking easily comparable to Photoshop the second you get all the plugins out there.
If youre moving to Linux then I really feel fucking sorry for you.

Just use Paint.net, it's perfect for its niche. I'm not firing up Photoshop or fucking with a web app if I just want to typeset a speech bubble or make a thumbnail, If you need vectors or a good magic wand then you already have a backup.
