That link in his post. Movie is 5% about photography and 95% about relationship drama.

          Anonymous

The "relationship drama" and the corresponding vapidness is a commentary on the photography industry in general and the kinds of people in this. See

it happens a lot, once the model gets jaded or can use the photographer as bridge, they will burn you.

its easier to hook up with models who have a real career during the week and model on the side vs amateur/delusional models who claim they model full time. the amateur/delusional models are the ones you want to avoid fucking.

for an example of what the movie is talking about.

I don't understand how you can watch this movie and not see that. It's 100% about photography.

            >and the corresponding vapidness is a commentary on the photography industry in general and the kinds of people in this
but what's wrong with it. people can be friends with benefits or exchange favors consensually. especially if it's between a photographer and a model with the same amount of fame where there isn't really any "power dynamic"

do photographers hook up with their models nowadays or is that cancel worthy?

      Anonymous

Happens all the time. If you try to do it and you’re a creep about it, people will talk.

        Anonymous

But why does it make you a creep or something people would talk about. You can meet people and date through a regular job and no one cares

          Anonymous

It depends on how you approach it. If you try to fuck a model during a shoot, that’s creepy. If you make inappropriate comments while she’s trying to work, that’s creepy. If you hit it off and you go for drinks after and there’s good chemistry and everything is on the level, that’s not creepy.

            Anonymous

            >If you hit it off and you go for drinks after and there’s good chemistry and everything is on the level, that’s not creepy
that's exactly what I was talking about, not trying to fuck them right there on a shoot.

            >You can meet people and date through a regular job and no one cares
            Not anymore, son

why not? even among normies and non-famous photographers? There's millions of photographers who do it for fun or just the art, I don't see what's wrong with them dating models they meet, it's not like they have any power or influence in anything

or what about non-models who you ask to model for you and don't want a career as a model. like so many girls on flickr who pose nude yet aren't trying to be models

pantsu photography is an important plot point in Love Exposure
